Holiday Stress Tips From Ageless Living Lifestyle

It is well documented that too much stress directly leads to poor health and disease. Study after study has concluded stress is literally killing us. Juggling parenting, work tasks and home responsibilities can be overwhelming. Many people are feeling stressed by the news of the day, the challenges of modern life and by the holidays. Holidays are supposed to be fun not stressful. Our bodies can also become overly stressed when there is too much stimulation such as cell phones, TV’s, mp3 players, etc. or any other noises.

Apply the following tips and enjoy the holidays.

  1. Remember that you are a spiritual being and nothing bad can happen to you.
  2. Remember that 90% of things we worry about never happen.
  3. Take time out daily to relax your body/mind; meditate and   stay connected to your spiritual self and be clear on your life purpose. Having some quality quiet time daily will help to reduce stress.
  4. Breathe deeply throughout the day when you are feeling stressed.. Deep breathing will help you regain focus and relax your body. You will get more oxygen flowing through your body and feel more relaxed.
  5. Exercising daily is one of the best ways to reduce stress.
  6. Rest is very important as is eating healthy foods to keep your body healthy and relaxed.

A Letter From One Of Our Sponsors

Hello Friends and Family!

I am writing you all in an effort to do something amazing for the animal shelter that we rescued Charger from.  Charger has brought a tremendous amount of love and fun into our home and we have been dying to do something great to pay back Second Chance Animal Shelter for giving us such an amazing dog!  Marc and I started watching Extreme Couponing a few months ago.  If you are not familiar with this show, it basically follows families who spend 30 hours a week collecting and clipping manufacture coupons in order to go to their grocery stores and buy mass quantities of different products for little or no money at all.  These families create an entire room in their homes to store their massive amounts of grocery products, aka their “stock-pile”. Although we have no desire to commit to this time and effort on a full time, continuous basis (nor do we have the need for 67 bottles of dish soap or 167 cases of tic-tacs) we have been inspired in another way.

Marc and I want to collect coupons for dog/cat food, treats, toys, etc. to purchase these items at different grocery/pet stores in bulk and donate them to Second Chance Animal Shelter!  I can’t do this all on my own though.  We absolutely need AS MUCH help from you all as possible.  We are asking/ begging you to collect as many coupons from your newspaper, “junk mail” circulars and online/email promotions as possible and send them to us.  And we don’t mean just one or two coupons….we need like HUNDREDS!!!  If we do this properly, we can take 10 or 20 of the same manufacture coupons (combined with in store savings) and buy pet food for little to NOTHING at all!  We are only focusing on dog and cat supplies, so please don’t send us coupons for house hold items like Tide, as we have ZERO desire to build a “stock-pile” in our shoe box sized apartment

You can send all coupons to us at:
5738 Adelaide Ave.
San Diego, CA 92115

Please, feel free to forward this email to any of your other friends and family who you think would want to help out!!!  Any help is greatly appreciated.  And, in case you needed some inspiration and motivation to help out the amazing Second Chance Animal Shelter, please see the attached photo

Love,
Marc and Melis
